There are several listings of driver education courses in the yellow pages.
How do I find out which is the best choice ?
Anyone recommend a good school in Ottawa ?

I asked a bunch of qns to young drivers and they say to browse their website for the answers!
And it gets even better, they charge over one grand.
If this is the best driving school then what is a de-listed one ?
But here are some facts that you can use to get by. Also find out if the charges are for the beginners or the complete license? That might make more sense. Some have started to charge $80 per lesson, they are getting greedy. But who am I if there are suckers who can pay with out knowing the going rates they will fleece them. Mmmmm...
Some provide only 7 lessons and some provide 10. So the fees could vary considerably. Here is what it is that I saw today and they might be a few months OLD too. So, be guided by the prices here.

Shame on YD. The bimbo who answered the YD line (BTW who was either very short with me....or is there some invisible caste system I should be aware of ) was literally begging me to not join their school. "You've just got to be too stupid to be on Canadian roads" is probably what she was thinking inside her airhead. I've got to level with you. This "nose up in the air" attitude is just a ploy to scam gullible new immigrants.
Not only are their prices the highest but apparently their lessons are so hard to complete that I could need extra lessons (which meant more cha-ching to her of course). According to her, YD has some secret formula that GUARANTEES collision-free driving. I am going out on a limb here, but that magic potion wouldn't be KEEP YOUR EYES AND EARS OPEN YOU MORON, would it. Talk about running a recession-proof business.
Of course, outsourcing jobs to India is to blame......as always.
