Hi friends.

I have oath in next week and planning for a back home trip for 1 year

Now, time to prepare for my OCI.

Friends, Do i need original documents of Landing paper / PR card of my wife

My wife is in back home and i was told that we have to submit orginal documents at VFS. I don't have original documents of my wife.

I am applying only for myself, do i need any documents of my wife to show at VFS

Last year, i was reading this forum and i read that we have to go early to toronto consulate as only 50 applications accept perday

Consulate still accepting OCI applications ? or we have to only apply at VFS office.

Please advise.

Yes, need original landing papers.
Yes, need to show original landing papers of your wife as well even if she is not applying.
Only VFS accepts apps (at either their Brampton or toronto offices).

Okay thanks, I will try to get original Landing paper.

How about PR Card. My wife is in India.

I can't show her PR card.

what documents should i need of my wife in order to apply for my OCI

Please advise...

Landing Papers of the Applicant, Spouse and children/parents. Like the preious poster said, you will need to show the original landing paper of your wife.

PR Card/Indian citizen?

You apply for OCI only after you get Canadian citizenship. It is more like a lifelong visa to go to India.
