I had got my goods to follow list stamped during landing. I would like to send them from Middle east on a door to door basis. Is it possible that I can send them when I am not present in Canada to receive them. (My family shall be Canada. The list was prepared in my name. ). Do I have to give authorization to the forwarder or my family to clear it? Appreciate to get feedback if anyone has done so and if anyone knows names of freight co. doing it.

My sincere advise is don't send from middle east because it is an expensive affair unless and until you are sending antique furniture or goods. You get good antique second hand furnitures very cheap here. Still if you are so determined to send then contact 9820021675 and capt Raj will advise you. Bring cash and buy in canada.

this is telephone no. of owner of shipping company who gives lowest quotes. It is in India i.e mumbai. the owner's name is Capt Raj. I was supposed to bring container full of furnitures and beds etc but I got quote for half 20" container CAD 3500-4000. so I felt it is very expensive and I sold my furniture etc to dhs 5500/-.
