When Mulayam Yadav was Defence minister, he insisted that all official documents be translated in Hindi. A lot of money and resources were spent to fulfil his demands. (I am not commenting on language issues here, just effective use of resources, and the whims of our elected officials).
IMO, that money could have been spent providing better benefits to our jawans.
More of this kind of nonsense is what we will get if these kind of 'leaders' , but who are we to comment? It is the voice of the 'people'....

I suggest we make Modi the PM. It'll be funny to see how our PM won't be allowed to travel to the US (am sure other countries will follow suit). That would definitely make India a big joke.

It seems that like a few other "sickkular" guys, you seem to be obsessed with Modi. You seem to be belong to that club which comprises morons who can not differentiate between information and knowledge.
I am no big fan of Modi. For me he is just another politician, dishonest and corrupt. But I do believe in "degree" or level and by any standard , he will be a better PM than Lalu, Mulayam , Madmohan or Mayawati.
I personally do not see any chance of BJP coming to power given Indian demography and caste divide and India is destined to be ruled by puppets like Madmohan.
I wish you had a little commonsense and intelliegence to understand that if Modi happens to be PM, world will bend backwards to invite him. As a PM he will represent a major ecnomic power like india and no one is not going to deny him visa, not especially USA which has been now reduced in stature. PLease keep your wishful thinking and childish glee that you obtain by this wet dream of visa denial to Modi.
I have always been fascinated by club of morons in India led by Teesta, Shabbo and Arundhati who see demon in Modi but could not see the same in Saddam who killed thousands of your innocent brethren or Arafat who walked away from Camp David in Clinton's time and thereby responsible for thousand of civilian lives. You are like a frog in a deep well who can not see beyond well and thinks that world is confined to his enclosure. You would probably wish that Osama gets visa but not Modi.
