There is 2-part series on India to be telecast tomorrow (March 15) on CBC on channel 544 (HD) or channel 26......(on Rogers in GTA) at 8:30pm ET. Hope this is better than Toronto Star's reprts on India.

Have to agree, Toronto star does a very bad job of reporting on india, Their articles paint a very bad picture of the indian subcontinent.

The show was very harsh on India.......

India has a lot of problems.
The indian wealthy are shown to be impolite, show off, arrogant task masters. The poor and the workers still treat these wealthy people like they are some sort of gods. This was a big surprise?
I would hate to stay in a country with bosses of that sort..
Nothing like the polite demure of the richest man Bill Gates, or our own Canadian bosses; it makes you feel we are lucky to be in Canada.
This show makes you aware of indias vast gigantic problems..we are still very very far off from anywhere near the competency or moral (caste systems, gender issues) of the developed world.
We should stop kidding ourselves. It shows India as still very far behind.

I thought the show only chose to focus on the negative aspects of things with little or no mention being made of india's progress . Every country has its good and bad sides, it all depends on how you perceive it.
