Need Urgent Advice:

Yesterday driving on highway something hit my front screen, today morning I found my front screen is craked (Honda Civic).

I am not sure if this is covered by insurance and how much it may cost. Quick advice will help before calling insurance.

I think that falls under comprehensive coverage.
Cost could range in few hundreds, depending on where you go. Get a quote from your dealer (yes, that would be the max cost)
Best option is to call your insurance company. Ask them how to approach, what's the cost to you after deductible and how much is covered. If you feel comfortable, go ahead. Or else get it fixed yourself.
If after deductible it's not that big amount, I'd suggest skip insurance. Why give them reason to raise rates if you can afford the fix.

BTW, how and what is the damage? A crack? chip?
Depending on damage, you can either "fix" it or replace it.

If it is a repair or replacement - you can still call insurance.

If it is repair only then Insurance co wil fix your appointment with apple glass or speedy glass and they will pay them directly

If it has to be repaired - you can get it replaced from any where but you have to pay your deductible. If the deductible is high then you should think twice to go to insurance to get the claim.

In either case, there should be no increase in insurance
