Which detergent is the best TIDE or GAIN or Sunlight (for bright colored dresses)? and why?

I buy whichever one is on sale.
Haven't used Gain so far.

We use the Kirkland brand from Costco.
But hey...if your're clothes are expensive and delicate aren't you supposed to dry clean? Why the heck would you put them in those expensive cloth disintegrators?
