I see nothing wrong in those words of Senator. He is on chair to protect people who elected him, trusted him & empowered him to take some decisions. If he is protecting US Citizens - he is well & truely in his sense.
If H1-B holder is good then there is Microsoft Office in Bangalore/Mumbai.
But who is to decide on this "similarly qualified American employees & qualified americans"?
