PR application acknowledgement

Hi,

I am on work permit in Canada. 2 months ago I sent my PR application to Buffalo visa office. However, I haven't received any 'acknowledgement' from them. I sent the application as registered mail and it was successfully delivered according to postal department. May I know how long it will take generally to get any acknowledgement from them.

Some have received it in thirty days. Yours might take ninety. But you are in a very good position. May be Santa Claus will bring it for you this X-Mas.
