Hi Everyone,

I am planning to sponsor my parents living in India. I had a question regarding financial requirements, Please help me.

** Our (Mine and my spouse's) 2007 option C is not sufficient for sponsoring parents but the income from September 2007 to August 2008 meets the requirements for sponsoring parents, now if I calculate the financial obligation manually and apply for the sponsorship of my parents, do I need to maintain this financial status till the process is complete for my parents immigration.

Some one told me that you need to have sufficient income at the time of sponsoring only, Is that right?

I am planning to go to school this September which is going to reduce my income for the next year because I have to go part time.

please help?

if you are appling mid year you dont need option c nor t4 or assement at the time of application

just include your paystubs or other proof of gross income (total your income on peice of paper that clearly shows total gross from last 12 months)

cic will request option c before your file will be finalized after 23 24 months.
you need income for 12 months before the subbmision. dont waste the time if you have a proper income last 12 months.
