Hi there !
Im a self employed person and also wana to invite my parents on visitor visa..... But I have heard that Chandigarh visa office is issuing very less visas and most of the cases are rejected..
How much income I need to show to invite them on visitor visa ?
Will it be enough to send them invitation letter or bank statements or I need to send notice of assessment or tax details.. ?
Advice will be really appreciated...

They hold forums for people who wants to invite their Parents (Family members). Please see the previous posts and you will come across the location with their street address and their phone number for contact.
Don't worry about Chandigarh rumors about the Passport Office.
You just send them a filled application and ask them to submit the same.
Go to the Immigration Help Center with what ever documents that you have at your disposal and get the application process started. You will know from them what it is that you have to show as income.
You will need your Notice Of Assessment and you can also show your current bank balance to them to fill in the details.
