Euro, US dollars or Indian Rupees?

My FCNR Fixed deposit in India is maturing next week and I will get about
U.S.$ 20,000.
Could any experts suggest me how I can re-invest this amount again.
Is it better to keep in U.S dollars or convert in Can$/Euro/Indian Rupees and put into Fixed deposit.
Any useful suggestions are welcome.

As per what I have done and am still doing- switch to indian Rs and invest in Indian stock market or property.

You will not believe what I have made in the last 5 years- percentagewise.
