Can I claim 5 points for cousin brother ? Any suggestions pls !

Hi All,
I am going to apply for PR under skilled category, and I am wondering if I can claim 5 points for my cousin brother !? He is PR here and is my father's brother's son. I would appreciate your reply in this regards. Thanks.
Unfortunately the answer is No. Your cousin brother presence in Canada will not useful to your application to score points. Only your own brother, sister, father and mother are considered as blood relative to qualify 5 marks.

Not sure about the cousin but you dont have to be a blood relative, even your uncle,aunt, niece or nephew can get you 5 additional points for immigration. So if his father were to apply, he would get these 5 points.
It means you or your spouse / common law partner can have to have a realtion in Canada to get these 5 points.
no points for cousin brother...father,mother,uncle,aunt,nephew,neice,grandfather,grandmother,grand childeren
I have applied and i have my father's elder brother in Canada , and its acceptable as he is Blood relation to me directly . His son would not be acceptable but if father brother or sister and same for mother is there then its not a problem .
