nothing happens to the people who actually do bomb blasts in the trains ? while a seemingly harmless guy is sent to the jail for 6 years ? i don;t understand.
i was expecting something will come out from the train blasts last year, in terms of arrests and busting of the gangs involved. nothing ever happened.
people caught on with their lives the very next day. the media said "look at the spirit of the city, and how resilient the people are ! ". to me, this sounds more like a situation of helplessness, than spirit. the police blamed it on a terrorist group. so, by now everything is forgotten, except the ones who lost dear ones.
Sanjay dutt.ws found guilty and has been sentenced. Bollywood stars are on the move to get him out using special campaigns. What about the people who were killed in the blasts.
Sanjay did not kill anyone. But , knowingly he maintained relationship with the dreaded underworld. He helped them in several ways.
He deserves more than six years RI.

What about Govinda, Salman Khan, and other celebrities who are often seen in Dawood parties in Dubai? I am not taking sides with Sanjay, and if he's guilty then so be it (who cares??). But, if he's just guilty of having relationships with the gangsters then I believe there's a major chunk of Bollywood actors/acresses who have the same indulgence, and hence should be punished. You can't make only one guy, a scapegoat. Actually, all zero it on the Indian judiciary that is so slow and is caught in the cobwebs of cases, dates, false witnesses etc.
What use of the fair judgement and redressals if it takes 10-15 years? What about the Nanda's case (BMW)? It's already been close to 10 years (or more), which is being dragged down and Nandas are having their field day out in the open.
I believe, equally it's the media's responsibility to follow-up on the cases. Why it's hot on one day and once it all cools down in the media, everyone forgets the same. What Indian system lacks is the following-up on these high profile cases so that regardless of the rich or poor, culprits should face the punishment they duly deserve.
Think about it.
