Hi,

I tried searching for this specific question but couldn't find. I am sorry if questions has been answered already.

I am applying for my Parents 'visit visa. I am a new permenent resident with 5 months of stay and job.

My Questions are:

1. Is it advisable to apply for their visit visa? (A few thousand dollars in bank, a decent job but no tax statement or long credit history.)

2. On the forms (IMM 5257), they ask to fill in details of children. By children, do they mean dependent children only or all the children. All children of my parents are not dependent on them. I am suspecting that they are only asking to fill in "dependent" children's info as Candian definition of family members might not include independent 22+... Just a bit confused...

Thanks for replies.

Sirf Aapka,
Ullu da Patha

Hello there I do not have answers to your questions but when we applied for our parents we hired an agent they take anywhere from Rs.2000- Rs. 5000 (Rs. not dollars) and you do not have to worry a bit about it.

With all this legal stuff, we always preferred to take help of professional because once it gets rejected it's very hard to get it again.
