Hi All,
I have been using Admiral Travels in Mississauga for the last 3.5 years and they are pretty good in getting deals to India. Contact Mrs Suman at +1 905 206 0770. I will be flying on Jet Airways in mid Nov, TOR-BRU-CHENNAI so will update on my return in the 1st week of Dec.

Not sure but these days it is wise not to take chances

also keep in mind that security at TO was the toughest that I have ever experienced at any place
They check every single item by taking it out, examine belts, shoes, ear plugs
be prepared

You can always convince them about a couple of kgs., it shouldn't be a big deal.
Depends on who you are talking to, and how you go about it...
I did have a few extra kgs., and although they were being a little fussy, it didnt take me too long to convince them that it was ok.
Earlier, I travelled on Lufthansa with an excess baggage of more than 50kgs.
It all depends on the person, and in my opinion, a couple of kgs shouldn't be a problem at all.

my advice is to weigh baggage at home and not risk excess...at the last minute you have to pay or remove items and that can be a very helpless situation.

Dear All !
Thanks a lot for your replies .. I did checked my baggage at home with a regular 10 $ weighing machine . On arrival at airport all my 8 luggages were slightly overweight i.e. 25 KG .. The lady at the counter was very pleasant and did advised us that we were overweight but did not asked us to remove baggage or pay..
I was extremely happy with the flight . As soon as you board attendant handed over a small bagpack for kids which contained crayons coloring book and stickers . It kept my kids busy for a while . Each seat has its private entertainment system equipped with remote . Wide selection of English, Hindi movies along with cartoons and video games ..Seats are pretty comfy ..Food was good especially vegetarian ..
Washrooms had deo's ( as a courtsey for next person ) & shaving kit . Toothbrush along with socks and paste were handed over to everyone at the begining of the flight ..
In short Jetairways is worth of each penny we spend ..
Last but not least ..Good comes with bad ...
Brussels airport was ONLY bad experience ( even though very short ).. Airport felt like a small railway station and that too in In...a.But it can be easily ignored as the transition is only for two hours ...
Hope this information helps the future flyers ...
Ashwani

Mumbai to toronto ( one way) - Adult - 33k ,child - 27k as of today for April,

It is always advisable to travel the minimum stopages .

Baggage allowance - 23 kg x 2 baggage per passenger , if it is infant then 12 kg one bag.

Desi Airlines , quality is good , they understand Hindi

Arrival time in YYZ 12.20 Hrs

cheers

If u r from Mumbai PM me and when u r planning to travel.
