Hi,
I upgraded my Toshiba laptop's motherboard thru a local computer shop. Unfortubately after a month the motherboard fails to work & when I returned the laptop back to the local shop the boss their was angry & said ok .. it is still under warranty.. I'll send it back to the dealer to change it. It has been about 4months & my Laptop is still unfixed. Everytime I call on the boss says to me that the dealer on his turn sent it on to Toshiba Co. and we are all waiting their checking. He made it clear that the motherboard is under guarantee from Toshiba to the dealer ????(of which I don't understand - since it is used and not a new motherboard- it costs me 300$ cad to upgrade).. it is now at Tosiba co. & I can't reach it anywhere. Iam wihout a Laptop since 4months and ongoing.
What shall I do? What is the legal step to take? pls advice
