I filed for citizenship in 2005 and in Nov 2006 I got clarification about residency. I have replied to that and till now there is no info, when checked with the center I was told to wait.
My PR card is expiring in July and I am also planning a trip to India in sept. what should I do.

Renew it ASAP if you plan to travel, since citizenship timeline cannot be predicted accurately and there is nothing else you can do about it.
You can request GCMS through IMM5563B form to see the remarks on your file ....

but in the mean time getting the PR is not a bad idea .....

Since you have not received your Citizenship so far and you are planning a trip to India, you must apply to renew your PR Card as it is mandatory for residents of Canada to have a PR Card while returning back to Canada.
