Again, we should leave this particular post open for further discussions, since there could be other CD members looking for doctors in other areas of GTA.

Hence , folks, pls continue to share good doctor leads here,indicating whether they are accepting new patients or not.

That is what makes this such a good forum!!!

My wife recently visited a lady doctor in Scarborough Area on the recommendation of our family doctor. She found her to be very compassionate and competent and at this time she is accepting new patients.

Dr. Shashi Devi is at 701 Sheppard Ave East (South of Bayview). She is not accepting new patients, but you can try your luck. She was our family physician when we were staying in the North York area. The other doctor in that practice, Dr. Chanduri is accepting new patients, as her practice is fairly new. You can contact the doctor's office at (416) 221-0176

Please guys.... keep away from Dr. Shashi Devi. We have had bad experiences with her, and so have tons of other patients.

SS...am surprised that you had a bad experience with Dr. Devi. My wife was under her care during pregnancy and we had no major issues. Now, that we have moved away from North York, we no longer visit her.
