WASTEWATER ENGINEER

Intermediate /Senior Wastewater engineering positions are available with a leading municipal consulting firm in GTA doing business in Ontaro.

An established engineering consulting firm in Greater Toronto Area is seeking intermediate/senior wastewater engineers to contribute to their Businerss Group.

The successful candidate will have 10 to 12 years experience in the design of sewage pumping stations, forcemains and treatment plants.Work in the areas of collection, treatment, and disposal for public and private sector clients.

POSITION SUMMARY

As an Intermediate/Senior Engineer the candidate will be responsible to:

* Direct and coordinate the activities of engineering/design groups assigned to a project or supervise complex engineering tasks related to a portion of a major project * Develop and approve all project technical documentation, ie. specs., drawings including PID, reports, and progress payments
* Assure compliance of engineering efforts with project schedule, control estimate and company procedures * Plan, organize and co-ordinate projects in related multi-disciplines fields of engineering
* Establish and maintain client contacts on technical and/or project administration matters
* Provide expert advice on water and wastewater design processes or construction methods
Participate in studies, modelling, assessments,

Prepare preliminary and detailed design, development of cost estimates and tenders, and construction management of wastewater projects.

* Project management

* Autocad Experience

QUALIFICATIONS

* Hold or be eligible to obtain a P. Eng. in the province of Ontario, EIT's will be considered
* A minimum of 10 years of experience
* Exceptional communication skills (client relations, team project communications, proposal and report development)
* Previous consulting experience in process design of wastewater facilites in Ontario

Experience with process modeling software

Committed Team Player
