Hi,
We plan to land in Canada some where in March , my wife is in the family way with probable due dates in Aug (Some Nine Months Away).
I am not sure how to handle the medical insurance that would be required for the entire period............what options do I have.

OHIP has a 3-month waiting period. So assuming you plan to land in March, the ocverage would start in June. Once you're covered by OHIP, your Doctor's visits, medical test and delivery will be taken care off. Medicines are not covered by OHIP.
You'd have to plan for insurance coverage for the 3-month waiting.

Pregancy or pregancy related complications are not covered by private insurance. There is eight month wait period in case of private insurance.
