Greetings,

I need a voltage converter/adapter for 220v to operate a cell phone charger.

Where is the best place in the GTA (preferably West) to get this?
Online is fine too (haven't been able to find it in TigerDirect).

Thanks.

If you're looking for 220 to 110, try Canadian Tire or The Source - Circuit City. CT has a kit which includes a adapter/convertor with around 5-6 types of pins. It's a grey box. I bought the same kind from the Flea Market at Warden/Eglinton (East side) for $20. CT will be more expensive + the tax.

I've also seen some around at Walmart.

New cell phone charger (110 v) may be cheaper than
110-22OV convertor!

The cell phone is an older model phone purchased in India.
I don't it'll be easy to find a charger for it - may have to order from the manufacturer (if they have it).

You will find one for 5 bucks at the flea market in brampton or at the dixie outlet mall underground flea market. Trust me it does the job for a cell phone charger.

I was, however looking for the same but with a higher wattage (600 W) and that costs like 50-60 bucks. Can anyone guide me to a place where it would be cheaper?
