It is a designer jacket. You can find it in the Fashion Outlet Mall (1900 Military road, niagara falls, new york, 10 mins from the border)
. Its in the Eddie Baur store.

I wish to add that winter jackets & shoes go at al huge discount (up to 70%) during clearance time (May - June) . New Immigrants should avoid buying expensive jackets / shoes till then , but do not compromise on the quality if you have to purchase before that . Sears outlets are very good at all times with regards to quality and price . Budget $50/- for each - jacket & shoes in winters .

An ideal winter jacket should have a detachable fleece lining (jacket inside) and a water / air proof shell jacket on the outside--- a good hood /cap is very important during winds .

For shoes again the thinsulate lining and treaded soles help a lot.

For caps / gloves / mitts check out Walmart . Mitts are warmer than gloves. better to buy caps which cover the ears - helps when in the wind .

Hi ,
Now that I have to survive Toronto on a PhD stipend (basically, a hand to mouth existence) I am doing some extreme budget planning.

I was wondering if you could tell me how much money I should set aside for Winter clothing in total (i.e , costing for a formal winter coat + casual winter jacket + gloves + winter shoes + snow boots + scarves +ear muffs + anything else required to survive Toronto winter ).

Please understand that I will be using the public transport so there will be many occasions that I will have to wait at bus stops in winter.

Please note ------I did try to arrive at the total cost by googling individual items and checking Sears, Bay, Walmart, etc but I guess it is too early for them to advertise winter apparel now, so I couldn't work out a costing.

Could you please let me know?

Thanks.

I dont want to post this in free section, I found people buy from free section for selling purpose later on.

We have given lots of free baby stuff on craigslist and when person arrived at home, not having baby...looks like she will sell someone later.

send me pm. its free, and it is app. 300$ value. After I got my baby, I had replace my closet ....I can't fit in that one anymore..so its not used very much.

Hello Friends,

Do you guys know any good place from where I can buy a good winter jacket for good price. Am looking for Canada goose, AlpineTek, North Face kind of brand or any other brand with similar quality.

I have gone through this thread, but not sure if the places mentioned here are still good as they used to be.

Thanks,

At this time of the year, Costco is the best place to shop for winter gear... unless you are looking for specific designer labels and equipment. For regular winter jackets, they usually have the best deals and promotions.

Try there.
