I am on a 3 yr work permit. Software developer, Facilitated Process.

I would be applying for Immigration and need to know if my company has to go through AEO (Arranged employment opinion) from HRSDC?

In essence, jobs like mine are exempt from HRSDC approval as they have a 'national confirmation'. But last line on CIC site has put me under confusion - It says - This facilitated process is not applicable to persons applying for permanent residence in canada.


Any suggestions?

Should I apply to CIC and get my company to go through HRSDC on the side in case they ask..

Or

Should I wait for AEO from HRSDC and then apply?

Or

Is it needed at all... for my job?
