Please identify the city where you would like to settle. There are plenty of Head Hunters who are in the financial sector, who will be able to place you. When you send your resume always use your Canadian address, and a local contact address. This way you might be able to get your relocation expenses borne by the bank.Always get the best designation and also aim for high basic pay as everything is linked to the basic pay.Try for voucher payments for perks if possible.

Do not restrict yourself to Banking Sector. There are other opportunities which might be of interest to you in General Management. Companies like Reliance are open to hiring anybody under the sun. Please look at their site as they opportunities in Insurance, manufacturing and may be they have a banking plan under wraps.

The job market is quite hot. The issue is not getting a job, but the job of your liking/specialization. Organizations like GE Capital are offering Rs.30 Lakhs for an Indian MBA with 7+ years of experience.

Some of the prominent head hunters in India are the Fergussons, ABC consultants, Shilpusti, Datamatics to name a few. The best deals in finance are available in Mumbai, Pune, New Delhi, Bangalore and Ahmedabad.

Good Luck & God Bless !

Speech by Thomas Friedman of The New York Times....

"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our
vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, 'think of the
starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my
children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India
who would make you starve, if you don't.'"

The job market is really hot, especially in the fields of banking, insurance, mutual funds, IT, etc.

If you want jobs in banking try banks like Citibank, ABN-Amro Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, HSBC, Centurion Bank & so many other banks. Go to their websites directly & apply.

Rgds.
