Hi
I have a query.I hope you guys will be able to help me.
My husband is moving to Vancouver on 12th of Jan.Currently we are in India. He has a PR and employment in Vancouver.During his PR processing I dint pay my landing fees . Now he is planning to sponsor me as soon as he lands in Canada. In the sponsorship form we have been asked to show our 1 year account transactions in Canada.Do we need to stay in Canada for 1 year to sponsor the spouse ? or is it ok if we show his salary transactions in India ?
Hi Vinay2673,
If you read the Guide to sponsor your spouse carefully you will find that you do not need to show 1 year account transactions in Canada. Furthermore you also do not have to meet the minimum income requirement.
