If I am not mistaken, there are 2 forms of PCC. The first one you obtain from Passport office and submit with the application. The second one you need when CHC asks for PCC with passport for issuance of visa, thats when you have to approach the Police. This is the approach for applying for self, I am not sure how it works for sponsoring.

It is no big deal. Usually it is simple two day process.

Hi LD, thanks for the offer of help. As advised by fellow CD's, my parents got PCC from Passport office and application is ready to file. Thanks again all for quick response.
