Hi,
Being a permanent resident, I am arriving to Canada in December 2003, Like many peoples I will apply for all necessary documents and will be back within 10-15 days. While going back, I want to visit New York. Being a permanent Resident of Canada, do I need entry visa for USA. If yes, Is it easy to get it while applying in American Consulate in Canada. What approximate time is rrequired for obtaining visa?
Any tips to get it smoothly?
Thanks in advance.
Deharki
We have a very nice article from tummudu on this - please search this forum and find it yourself.
Normally it takes about 4 weeks to get appointment for Visa from American Consulate. You can take an appointment online - as they have a website. It will ask you for a Visa card.
Usually they don't give Visa to anybody without job or just landed. Please consider this.
