Address change in OCI

Hi,

I just received my new/renewed canadian passport and it has my new address, where as my OCI card has old address on it. I am going to India in 15 days. Do I have to apply for new OCI for the address change or can I still travel without any problem.

You will need a New endorsement in the NEW Passport. Which is : They will say that you are a OCI card holder. They do charge you a nominal fee. You will have to pay a sum of $25.00 for any additional work needed. Please contact them yourself and confirm prior to the visit. At that time please get the address changed in your OCI book too. You may have to pay fees for that also.

Per the link above:

1. New OCI documents will not be issued for address changes.
2. New OCI card/passport endorsement not needed for holders between 21 and 50 yrs of age. For anyone below or above that age group, OCI card must be "renewed" every time the passport is renewed for a fee of $25USD.
