Hi,
Before I travel to India, I am planning to visit a travel doctor to get some advice on immunization/vaccination, especially for my children. The doctor charges $50 per person, over and above the cost of shots.
1. Are there any docs / medical centers that can do that cheaper?
2. Do adults need these shots?
Thanks,
MG.

Thanks meghal.
My family doctor does not give these vaccines. He asked us to contact a travel doctor. The travel doctor charges $50 as his consultation fees ( not for every shot).
If you have benefits at work at least some of the cost would be covered. You will have to call the insurance company to find out.

I am travelling to Bombay in the winter. My doc felt that a Hepatitis vaccine was adequate. Is the typhoid vaccine recommended? And malaria?

I myself did not take any injections, as I thought being an adult and having lived half my life in India, my system must have had enough immunity.
I just had my daughter take a shot ( which was against three disceases) and maleria pills.
