My father and mother in law applied for visitor visa but it has rejected stating some of the following reasons.
1. Regulation 179: you have not satisfied me that you would leave canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident.
2. your travel history
3. your personal assets and financial status
Now i am planning to repply on the medical ground only for my mother in law as my wife is pregnant. for this i will have letter from the doctor recommending the visa and i am also trying to get the letter from MP. will this help to get the visa for my mother in law on medical ground?
any other suggestions or comments on this that can help me out to get the visa successfully?
Thanks,
AJ
Has anybody tried to go to take the CIC to court on grounds of visa denial and has anybody succeeded? My parents have applied for a visa recently but were denied a visa a year ago on some flimsy grounds. If they are denied again I am considering filing a case against the CIC. Any help on this will be appreciated.

you canot file a case against CIC.
remeber it is a privilage to get a Visa and not a right.
you may try other means though.
The MPs letter will have more influence than medical letter.
Because unless there is a major ailment/surgery or shortage of medical assistence in canada, the medical letter for pregnancy/post-delivery asking someone to visit from abroad will prove out to be a lame reason for immigration officers. However, mostly accepted on humanitarian grounds.
My advice is...
Think immigration officer perspective!! Typically, pregnancy is not something that demands a foreginer to visit the country. We can only request, but not demand or any letter from the doctor. A proof of your wife being pregnant is more than enough. But a letter from the doctor will sound offensive to the officer.
Submit the following items:
1. MPs letter to give assurance to the officer that your mother will go back to india as soon as her visa is over.
2. Just a proof of pregnancy
