PR File sent to New York??

Hi Friends

In first week of February 2009, I applied for PR as a skilled worker under Provincial Nomination Scheme. I received AOR and request for medicals from Buffalo in the last week of April 2009. Now we have just completed our medicals and today I received a letter from Canadian Consulate General in Buffalo that my application has been transfered to Canadian Consulate General in New York

I am confused why this is done. Is this normal to transfer file to other offices and if yes, what normally are the reasons.

Should I inform the doctor about this transfer...

nothing to worry, sometimes the consulate transfer the files for faster processing, since you have already completed medicals you should be getting the Passport request soon

your medical results go to Ottawa, who will inturn send it to the respective visa off, you do not have to do anything
