Hi,

I applied for PR under skilled worker category at Buffalo in March 2005. In between, i appeared for my IELTS test, passed and also submitted my scores at the canadian consulate in Buffalo. Recently, i received a letter saying that my file has been moved to Los Angeles consulate and all future correspondence have to be addressed with Los angeles consulate.

Any body any idea why this might have happened???

Is this a refusal sign??

no its not . it depends on wherre you reside in the states. our file was moved from buffalo to detroit coz we lived inminnesotta. baffalo is also very crowded so they might be lessening the burden there, which is good for you as your file will move faster. best of luck
