When you are living in Canada, you apply for PR from nearest visa point, which is Buffalo,US.

You should be living in Canada for 1 yr. if you want to apply from Buffalo.
Otherwise you would apply from India, which would take "ages"

CIC Specifies it as follows:

"Determine which Canadian visa office is responsible for:

a. the country in which you are residing, provided you have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one year;
or
b. your country of nationality. "

I am a canadian citizen, lets say sponsoring my father under family class i.e. applying for his PR.

Now i am in canada and he is indian resident. can I sponsor / apply for his PR from buffalo ?
