i'm looking for advise in immigrating to canada under skilled worker catergory. could you please advise on do's and dont;s. here's a bit about me :
* i work in usa on H1 and since my green card is not bound to happen, canadian PR is my next option.
* i checked the skilled worker assessment and i pass the required 75 points.
* my company is willing to relocate me to toronto, canada and offer me a job over there.
so, what is the best way proceed with this scenario. my eventual idea is to get a PR and then possibly canadian citizenship.
any advices will be very valuable !

If they really want to relocate you then ask them get the work permit (which you get sooner) and start working from Toronto. Then apply Canada PR application from Toronto, that makes your case fast.
Nowadays any application from Buffalo takes anywhere between 18 months to 2 years due to severe backlog.
I know couple of my friends cases, eventhough their cases were approved CIC asked them number of documents to prove their status (like Updated salary statement, proof of funds).

Your employer's Canadian office should start the ball rolling regarding the work permit. Process takes anywhere between 2-6 weeks.
