I read the pdf file for sponsoring parents which asks for 12 months financial history. We have been in Canada for 4 months. Is it advisable to apply so soon for them to come here? We might meet that financial requirement but we may not have the financial history that they mention.

My understanding for meeting income criteria is:-

Either attach your last Notice of Assessment

or

If you do not meet income criteria as per notice of assessment then you should present past twelve months of income proof.

I believe as you stated that you have landed four months ago, you do not meet either of the criteria.

You need to meet the income criteria for sponsoring your parent.
