my cousin has opened a pooja store in south india. her customers needs north indian style headbands, shawls, uparna etc with prints like Om, Jai shree ram, Swastik and all. the customers are not affluent so looking for inexpensive but durable items. Any online places to suggest?

I was on FOUR Different Indian web based sellers to check for your requirements. Most of them are about THREE times more expensive than Alibaba and the other whole sale websites. Then enters the imports and the tariffs and how they can manipulate them to get them into their own shops. I asked one merchant over the phone and he says that there are people who are specialists who camoflage the materials and some how get them in and make a killing.

When I see the price range is between 1 - 50 dollars and the quantity to order a minimum of 1000, I had to back off my queries.

So, the next question is what kind of product are you looking for and the quantity you can order and your capacity and the capital you can come up with.

AND You won't believe it, I hit upon an idea to import JUMP DRIVES for sale and give away too. Dirt cheap and great stuff too. I have to be fast and do it once, then lie low.
