Hi:
Posting for my friend who is having a baby via C section next month. She has some major health issues so will be having an early c section in October and would be in Hospital for 2 to 3 days. She has a 2year old so her husband cannot stay overnight with her at the Hospital. Yes mostly nurses are there but she needs someone to stay and help her and will compensate accordingly. If you know any desi lady who can do or does this service please let me know. I did post on Kijiji and various websites but got no response.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks
Which hospital ?
Find a baby sitter for the 2 year old for 2-3 days, so Daddy can visit the hospital.
Why don't you take care of the kid and babysit him for 2 days. He will play with your kids. While his dad will be in the hospital.
They can keep in touch over video chat through IPad or something like that.
Don't hire some desi crook over Kijiji they will steal her valuables like gold chain, debit card etc.
OP don't worry about it much as most crooks have been shipped back to India

@pendse i will be providing her with food and offered to keep her daughter with me overnight so her husband can stay at the hospital, but she prefers a woman who can take care of the baby and i would have gladly stayed at the hospital but i have 2 kids and my husband works nightshifts as well so kind of tricky. Meanwhile we are searching and if we find no one who is reliable then as the last resort i will keep her child with me and let her husband stay overnight at the hospital. The Hospital is Trillium.
There are lot of desi old parents... ask around your circle and you will find aungy/daddi for few days...
it will help your friend as well as those old parents - who are mostly bored at home since their own kids don't have time for them.
They will be very thankful and helpful ....
