thanks dsd for your reply.....i checked with travel agent but till date no luck. We have requested for wheel chair for her, but it will be good if she has some company during travel and especially during waiting time at london
anyways thanks
What you can do is on the date of the journey, look for some one during check in, buy them some timmies or give them $ 50 and ask them to take good care of your mother and help her during the transit time in London. They should be going Toronto - London and then London -Mumbai. Since it is AC to London and AI to Mumbai, the airhostess would not be of much help.
After Mumbai, she can find someone at the airport by sweet talk in Hindi/Gujarathi or give Rs 5000 to someone for help.
If you are a cheapo, then you should not be looking for any free companion but instead teach your mother to be independent.
Sorry if I was harsh.
Peace by Murali

I fully agree with dsd....offering money is not our culture. Our culture is to help without any expectation....thats what we have been taught and especially helping an elderly person we feel blessed.
When I came to Canada in 2005 there was an elderly couple with me during my journey and their son requested me just to take some care of them, I was more than happy to help them thru the journey....I did that not with the hope of money but instead of MORAL responsibility (afterall a person's thinking is what he/she has been taught)
When a person gets old, and never travelled (internationally) he/she can't get enough confidence. Everyone wants to be independent but age has also to be considered and help from fellow person from our own country gives a big assurance
BIG THANKS DSD and Bhoothnath.
BHOOTHNATH I loved "RAJNIKANT" one....LOL
