Here are the direct links of application and fee which are working well from my Chrome browser. Check your browser's security settings or try another browser.

Hi, I am confused between entry visa and visitor visa. I need multiple entry for 2 yr period to visit family, which visa category should I apply.
I don't understand why entry visa fees are different then visitor visa fees. Thanks!

Take a coin, toss it and pick the option - so simple.

On the serious node, do your homework first. Search this forum and you will find so many threads, read them. Compare cons and pros. Evaluate each option you have (I doubt you have many options) and finally decide yourself. As I said before - take an informed decision with calculated risks.

-------------

I got both your letters into ONE.

Currently, either it is SIX Months Visa, PIO & OCI are available for CANADIANS. It is because of the reciprocal agreements between the TWO Countries.

You have the two links provided to you by DELHITE. This is from that link. :
<http://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/indianVisaReg.jsp> This is the ONLINE FORM. Fill it and pay the required fees, see below, and send all of the materials to VANCOUVER, B.C. That is the region that you come under.
http://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/indianVisaReg.jsp

Here is a link to the Tourist Visa application from BLS. You can use their services also. Try and use the COURIER - RETURN, it will cost you $50 extra. It is the Safest service.

KEEP TWO COPIES OF THE PRINTED APPLICATION for yourself.

SIX Month Visa fees are : $71.40 Plus 50 for courier return.

Look into fees : <http://www.blsindia-canada.com/touristvisa.php>
http://www.blsindia-canada.com/touristvisa.php

If you want to stay in India for TWO Long years, then get the PIO or the OCI card and stay as long as you want. The cost is around $339.40 & After you receive the PIO Card, you will have to pay an additional $29.40 for getting a rubber stamp in your Canadian Passport stating that you do have a PIO Card and with its number inscribed in there. That is for the current Passport. It repeats for the Next Passport also.

Alternately you can obtain an OCI Passport.(The so called one) cost is about $287.40 plus the courier return of $50.

See if the links work for you.

Here is how to get hold of BLS : http://www.blsindia-canada.com/Helpline%20instruction.php <http://www.blsindia-canada.com/Helpline%20instruction.php> Their phone numbers for Alberta are in it too.

------------------------

SEE IF YOUR FRIENDS WILL HELP YOU TOO.

I only have a coin that says WIN on both the sides. So, you WIN. It does not matter what you work as, here in Canada, you can always work and save a few bucks and take a nice vacation atleast once in TWO years and return back to India and tell them all of the good news about Canada. Don't forget you will have to work very hard.

Here is CATCH 22, find out what it is. (A difficult situation from which there is no escape because it involves mutually conflicting or dependent conditions. ) You can enter as a student, if a school will accept you as a student. You will also need about $1000/month for a minimum of two Years. All these years, they would have allowed you to study and stay here. Now they say you will need more money, JUST TO SHOW, that you have extra money to stay here. That is too much. But they are making it very very difficult for the students from now on.

So, you can immigrate and then study here. To Immigrate you will need to be a qualified individual and only if your qualifications are very much in demand here. There are a few that are in demand in Canada. One such job is NURSING and the other is LIVE IN CAREGIVERS.

Now you know what Catch 22 means??!!

Alternately study there in India and Come up with high scores and you can Immigrate into Canada, if not immediately, after an year or two with all of the experience behind you. http://www.wlu.ca/documents/54574/MWR_research_brochure_revised.pdf

The main reason is that you can study there in India as a continuation of your studies and you also know how much it will cost up front.

Please read through this thread also. :

Here is a little start. See what you want to study or if you are already a degree holder, then which field will provide you an entry into. Then decide to take the help from your friends and stay here and be with them too.
