Residential places in ottawa

If I have to work in Ottawa- Kanata to be precise, do you happen to know what would be a good place to live. I am single and would prefer taking the bus than driving down to work. I am also looking for a place which is close to necessary groceries and stuff.

It would be great if you could give me some options

Check out Sunview Apartments (intersection of Greenview and Carling ave). It is right by the bus route (bus service to Kanata, Downtown, airport, etc) and walking distance to excellent parks, Indian grocery store and indian restaurant. You will not need a car.

What would be the closest place to live from downtown Ottawa or most convenient areas by public transport. I'm looking for something that would be close to all amenities including desi groceries.

Bayshore Area.

Talk to Minto for renting apt. Number of rental building in Bayshore Area.
This is also near to sunview apt as someone mention above.

Walking Distance To:

Bayshore Mall. There is also bus depot. Easy to get bus to travel anywhere in ottawa.
Bayshore Park
Movie Theater
Bus Stand at ground floor of the apt building
Vaishali Desi Grocery Store (Little costly in compare of others but worth if you don't drive)
