Hi masoodji,
I am PR of canada (3 years applied for citizenship),married and have 1 child my wife is working. I have just finished my study here (1 and half year), before that i have worked for 1 and half year.
I am only child of my parents who is living in India. I would like to sponser my parents and expect them as early as possible, but now a days its taking 2-3 years for processing application isnt it??
Is there any rule or law which help me to call my parents early here, because nobody is there to take care of them. They are fine by health but still they are alone.
Is there any humanitarian law which may help me!!!!
Your advise will be useful and valuable for me as I am planning to sponser my parents.
I can give you more details if you need

Unfortunately, there's no way to have their sponsorship processed sooner. They'll have to wait like most other parents.
If they were in Canada as visitors, you could try applying for them to stay here on humanitarian grounds but that too takes approx. 3 years and is only discretionary. Hence, there's no guarantee and you could find yourself back to square one again. If the humanitarian application were to be refused, they would have to leave and you would sponsor them all over again.
Best option: sponsor them from overseas.
