Please see the details that need from you and about you.
Then tell them about the visitor, all of it, in detail. Include this with the application for the Visitor's Visa.(You have to send it to them and ask them to include it) Make it look presentable. If you have facilities to get it notarized, then get it done too. (Which means you will have to have all of the documents required at the office of the Notary.) Write N.B. Required documents have been submitted directly to CIC.
The main idea of getting it notarized is you don't want the visitors to know all of the details about you, such as salary and place of work etc., When you do that, and after you complete, you send all or what you want to tell to the CIC here in Canada to CIC only. Just note in the NOTARIZED DOCUMENT, that required documents have been submitted to the CIC.. When you supply your visitor with the invitation letter, you only provide them with, Just the letter inviting him/her.
The Notary public does understand the predicament you are in. Alternately tell it all to everyone. Who cares. They may also want to know the about the other visits the visitors have made in teh past and with whom they stayed, if any.
And when they apply, state there in with a letter, that they will be in possession of a valid return ticket and if health care is needed, an insurance coverage for the duration of stay and the end of the visit, they will return back to their native country where they reside. Ask the visitors to state that in their letter.
