It is reverse racism.
Why cannot a white guy apply for refugee status in Canada and use persecution against him by black people in South Africa?.

As someone said in one of the comments in one of the articles I happened to read, refugee status is awarded based on a case by case basis and has nothing to do with anything other than the circumstances of the individual (although there are numerous bogus cases).
Anyway, in my opinion, South Africa crying foul about racism is hypocritical considering the racism, violence and crime that is widespread in that country.
