My parents are visiting canada and the stamp on the passport has date of Oct 15th. They do have multiple entry visa. Can we send in the application to extend stay. Is it too late to do that today is the 10th. Will it affect their visa or future visits if they stay longer. technically they will have no valid document until the extension comes in. Please advise.

Hello Freakoutguy,
Thank you for your reply. My parents actually have a multiple entry visa expiring in 2011. Oct 15th is the date that the canadian authorities put on their passports when they landed here.
They do have a US visa and they did travel to USA in August of this year by road. but when they re-entered Canada, no stamp was put on their passports. So the only stamp is Oct 15th. Will it help going to USA again as they do not put any stamps. Please advise.

Hi Rohini,
Could u pls. indicate what documents from your side and from ur parent's side u needed to get them the visa in the first place?
Did you need to send proof of employment , notice of assessment and bank statements or just one of them?
How did they go about applying? Through VFS?
Do u mind sharing the template for the invitation letter you may have used?
