My brother had applied to Buffalo, NY for this immigration under skilled worker category.
He recieved a 62 points instead of a 67 and he feels his profile is wrongly evaluated for example he has 2 degrees from Canada and he still got 20 instead of 22. He has 2 years experience and he recieved 15 points instead of a 17.
Even in the adaptability section he should have 10/10 because he has 1 year experience in Canada and also he has his education from Canada.
He is right now in India and has been there since past 6 months. My question is how do you appeal a rejection and does he stand a chance.
A little more about him.
He has been in Canada for over 6 years. He got his diploma and post grad from Canadian schools, he is a certified financial planner (CFP) and then applied for his immigration to Canada in the independent category based on his experience/qualifications. He is not married or does not have any family ties in Canada.
Any help ideas will be appreciated. Obviously, it’s a very hard time for him and us (his family)
Thanks
