Most laptops have function key (Fn) for shortcuts like volume up-down, brightness adjust, mute.....And also many alphabetical keys have double functions one is the main alphabate printed on it and the other function is in combination with the Fn key.
I have a soney Vaio series PCG K33.
my alphabetic keys on the keyboard are not working in normal condition...
They work with the combination of Fn key..
If I dont press Fn key then the other letter ( which is supposed to be working with combination of Fn key )shows up....
Its like Caps Lock with small and capital letters..
I am sure there must be some setting to control this... But I am not aware of it..
Is anybody here aware of it ???
Otherwise I will have to contact sony people...
Thanks in Advance

Let's make India a better place !
I was using an external USB key board. For external key board we normally keep the Num lock light on (active) so that we can use the numerical keys. So when I turn on the Num lock in the external key board, it will automatically turn on the laptop's key board's Num Lock... So all I had to do is to turn off the Num lock when I want to use the Laptop's keyboard. Because laptop's Num Lock has different function than the external one as we dont have numerical keys on laptop keyboard.
