Can you pls give some info regarding banking/finance scenario in calgary.

Was wondering if demand for them is the same as Petro-guys.

Also if you could give me a approx on salary level for guys with about one year banking experience in toronto.

Here basically there is great demand for technical jobs. Office jobs like Accounting/Finance etc would fetch somewhere between 35 to 45000 per year for uncertified individuals. Canadian experience and CGA's would get preference over others. Rents are quite high here and almost doubled over the year. I am staying in a one bedroom apartment with boardwalk and pays $1200 per month. Cost of living too is high. If you are a new comer or planning to move to Calgary from outside Canada you should be prepared initially to do any type of job inorder to get some Canadian experience.
