If I were you, I would apply with the old IELTS test result. BUT I would be prepared to take IELTS again after applying for PR if visa officer asks to provide a new one. They give us enough time to provide new result.

well..
it clearly states that they need a one year old IELTS/equilavent!so even if u submit the old one it is of no use as they will send u a request for a new one!
