The Public Library System. Its a goldmine of books and every borough has/or shares a library. In montreal each person can borrow upto 10 books at a time on the card. Books range from fiction, self-improvement to gardening, finance etc. Almost everything one can imagine. Its all free(funded by taxpayers for the mst part).
My family loves books and we devote a lot of time to reading so we are really thankful for this awesome resource.

It must be different across the country!
in Surrey you can take out as many books as you wish on one card.
In Calgary they charge you a yearly user fee for the library.

I have to agree with you though: Libraries are awesome.

Totally agree.....also your local library offers professional courses such as babysitting and dancing lessons, reading classes for kids, arts and craft classes. Services/advice/help for people whose 1st languge is not english or teaching you how to do your taxes. They offer social groups that are open to all such as book clubs and plant swapping days. Also access to internet.

Very true...Toronto's public library system is probably the best in the world. We can get upto 50 items per card, order a book online and they call you when it is ready for pickup ....my wife and I have revived our reading habits thanks to Public libraries.

Here is another intersting thing we recently discovered, Toronto's library has over 2000 titles of popular hindi movies ...!!! and not just hindi, they have decent movie collection for regional languages as well.

search your faviourite indian classics
http://hip.tpl.toronto.on.ca/ipac20/ipac.jsp?session=114J9930M3262.30225&profile=rs&menu=search&submenu=fugitive%20facts&ts=1145993079864#focus

search under "AV subject begins with" and search for "hindi" or whichever language, and order your favourite flick !! and enjoy

One of the reasons I like this country is that people are encouraged to have a sense of humour which makes the workplace more interesting and also the freedom available to run your business, advertise etc anyway you like. An example of both of these is the sign I saw on a strip joint hoarding I passed on Matheson Blvd in Mississauga. It was "Wings - 25 cents, Dances $20, Finding out your wife is a stripper - priceless" :p

If such a sign was put up in Mumbai, which is argubly the most liberal city in the country, a Hindu political party would probably burn down the sign.

My2Cents,
Either you are making a joke or you donot understand what Humor is.
The above statement is Obscene and Disgusting. It canot be catorgorized as Humor.
Married people who go to this strip club may be deemed as animals.
Any other CD's who agree with me?
